Sending and Receiving Faxes - From Your Own Number

RingCentral has a capability to send and receive faxes directly to your own desk number.

Receive a Fax
  1. Communicate to the sender to send the fax to your desk number.
  2. Once the fax has been receive, you will be notified in the RingCentral App as well as an e-mail notificaiton.
  3. The received document will be located in the RingCentral App under "Fax" on the left.
  4. This area works as a mailbox for your personal faxes, here you will be able to view, delete and send faxes.
Sending a Fax
  1. Launch the RingCentral app on your desktop
  2. Go to the "Fax" section on the left.
  3. Near the top, to the right of the "Fax" title is a button that when hovered over will say "Send new fax", click this.
  4. Complete the "To" field with the receipents fax number, leave the "Fax from" default.
  5. Choose a cover page if needed.
  6. Select "Attach" and attach the document you wish to fax, PDF is recommended.
  7. Click "Send Now" or "Send Later" to schedule for a specific time. You will receive an e-mail notification once the transmission is complete.
