Send or Receive Large Files

If you need to send or receive a large file that exceeds the limits of the e-mail system (25MB), us the following methods.

Sending a Large File:

  1. Browse to this address - https://orangecityfl.wetransfer.com/

  2. Click "Add your files" or "Select a folder" and browse to the file(s)/folder you wish to send and select them.

  3. Email to: will be "filetransfers@orangecityfl.gov". Fill out the "Your E-mail" with your city e-mail to receive a link.

  4. Click "Transfer"

  5. You may receive an e-mail with a code, enter that code to continue. Then you will receive an e-mail with a download link, which you can copy and paste to send to any individual waiting on receipt of your files.


Login to the service using the information below to enable additional features like link creation and changing the expire time.

Username: filetransfers@orangecityfl.gov
Password: Contact I.T for the password.

Receive a Large File:

  1. E-mail the contact this link - https://orangecityfl.wetransfer.com/

  2. Communicate to them to click "Add your files" and attach the file they are sending you

  3. Have them complete the "Your E-mail to", "Title" and "Message" fields.

  4. They can then click "Transfer" to complete the process.

  5. The sender will receive an e-mail with the link, ask them to forward that to you.
