Send or Receive Large Files

If you need to send or receive a large file that exceeds the limits of the e-mail system (25MB), us the following service.

Sending a Large File:
  1. Browse to https://orangecityfl.wetransfer.com
  2. Log in using the link at the top right with username filetransfers@orangecityfl.gov and password FileTransfer!
  3. Click "I Agree" on the left side if prompted.
  4. Complete the "E-mail To" portion with the recipients e-mail address.
  5. If you would like to create a link to share instead, click the three dots "..." and change the setting from "Send E-mail" to "Create Link"
  6. Leave "Your e-mail" as "filetransfers@orangecityfl.gov"
  7. Complete the "Title", "Message" and retention days if necessary.
  8. Click "Add Files" if a single file or "Add Folders" for multiple files/folders. Select your file(s)
  9. Click "Transfer" or "Get a Link"
  10. If you choose "Send E-mail" your recipient will be sent an e-mail with a download link. If you choose "Create Link" click "Copy Link"
  11. You may now paste this link into an e-mail to send to your recipients.
Receiving a Large File(s)
Receiving a File: (copy and paste this to your remote party)

  1. Visit this link - https://orangecityfl.wetransfer.com
  2. Click "I agree"
  3. Click "Add File(s) or Select a Folder" and attached your files(s) or folder
  4. Complete your e-mail address in the "Your email" field.
  5. Click "Transfer" - you will receive a verification code to your e-mail address, copy and paste this into the "Enter verification code" box, then click "Verify and send"
  6. Once the transfer is complete, the right side panel will display the link to the download. You can click "Copy" and then paste this into an e-mail back to Orange City, you will also receive an e-mail notification which you can forward to Orange City as an alternative method.
